Lac de la Brèche is famous for its crystal clear waters and its surrounding landscapes. The water is very clear, during warmer periods you can enjoy a quick swim. There is a small pier nearby where you can rest or sunbathe. Access is free, there are no amenities, please take all trash with you.

The reservoir was completed in 1958. It has an arched wall with a length of 610 m and a height of 148 m. The volume of the barrier is 815,000 m3, the storage volume is 78 million m3 and the surface of the lake is 140 hectares. and a length of 2.4 km. The Corne de Sorebois shows its typical shape with its neighboring peaks, Pointe de Tsirouc, throughout the Anniviers valley. Situated in the middle of the valley between the side valleys of Zinal and Moiry, the horn is the last summit of the range which extends northwards from the Dent Blanche. The steep north face contrasts with the smooth Sorebois mountain pasture to the east and the west face dominates the Moiry dam. In winter, the summit of Mont Noble is the highest point of the surrounding ski resort, connected to the ski lifts. In summer, the summit offers an excellent day hike, with superb views of the 4 Valleys region as a reward. The summit itself is grassy, open and marked by a large cairn and a very elaborate bronze statue.
