3 km single trail, very nice and easy to ride.

When I explored this section in July, I was amazed at the quality of the trail. Despite previous concerns about stray trees, these obstacles had already been cleared, making way for a smooth and challenging ride. The trail begins with a particularly challenging section that will test every biker's skills. Technically demanding and partly blocked, it offers an exciting mix of natural obstacles and varied terrain. The section is not only challenging as a downhill trail, but can also be used as an uphill route for e-mountain bikes, making it a versatile experience for different types of bikers. The route is also a so-called “shared trail”, which means that it is shared by different user groups. This requires consideration and attention to ensure everyone's safety. The natural beauty of the Thuringian Forest along the trail is impressive. You drive through dense forests, cross small streams and enjoy the silence and seclusion of nature along the way. It's a place where you can experience both the physical challenge of mountain biking and the calming effects of nature.

I can only recommend this beautiful path through the Thuringian Forest 😁. No matter whether up or down, something is required.

Super fun way from Masserberg towards Neustadt. Somewhat experienced drivers can have a blast here 😉

Great trail with shoulders roots and washed out gutters. Don't take it lightly and of course it's the Rennsteig so be careful of others 😌☺️

Great single trail there, really worth it and shortly afterwards you'll be at Georgenberg near Bad Rodach.
