Located in the woods south of Vaglio, the Redde tower and the Church of S. Clemente were part of an inhabited complex including a village (Redde), the house-fortress and a church.

Ponte Capriasca is a village located in the district of Lugano which hosts one of the best known representations of the Last Supper (very widespread in religious buildings in Italian Switzerland), a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Supper in S. Maria delle Grazie in Milan, performed by one of his students, Cesare da Sesto.

Lake Origlio is of glacial origin and is a natural reserve that allows the reproduction of numerous species of fish and amphibians and represents the perfect habitat for the dragonflies that populate this area.

The Capuchin monastery was founded in 1535 as the first of its kind in Switzerland. The complex is laid out in terraces and has been expanded several times over the centuries.
