From Burgenland to Styria, or vice versa. But definitely via the Lafnitz river.

Here you'll find a cozy little rest area in the Lafnitz meadows. Dedicated to Herwig Seibert. You'll also find the dedication plaque at the rest area.

Are you also a "stone traveler"? Here, at the edge of the forest, you'll find a swap meet for painted stones that are ready to go on journeys. Great idea!

You'll find a pretty little fish pond here. It's privately owned, though, and as a sign says, "No trespassing." Still, it's perfect for taking some nice photos ;)

The Maierhofer Mühle inn closed its doors in 2023. But the historic buildings are always worth a visit. The blacksmith's shop on the property is still in operation, by the way. But it's not a "museum," as I read on another website.

Wonderful chapel located in the forest, for inner reflection, relaxation and unwinding. According to legend, the water that springs from there has a positive effect on eye diseases when you clean your eyes.

Here you cycle directly along the Lafnitz. The banks are densely overgrown, so you don't always have a view of the river. However, there is a bridge at this point from which you can get a good view of the riverbed with its incredibly clear water.

Nobody has won here for a long time.
