Nice climb, there are signs at the rocky parts, if the top is in the clouds the trails are also slippery, but it is more than worth the nice climb.

The Prat de Labat Plateau is today a vast natural wilderness dedicated to the semi-free breeding of sheep and pigs. However, it was once an important site for the extraction and processing of iron ore, as evidenced by the numerous existing excavations. This hike, which partly follows the "Sentier des Mines", allows you to discover this ancient heritage, with the highlight being the climb to Puech de Guilloumet to enjoy its exceptional panorama.

Dourmidou Peak (el Dormidor in Catalan), 1,843 m above sea level, is a peak in the French Pyrenees. The highest point in the Corbières-Fenouillèdes Natural Park. Its name in Catalan is Dormidor, meaning "dormitory," meaning the place where cattle come to sleep in the summer. It is easily accessible from the Col de Jau.

Large section above Alet les Bains is fenced off and blocks the route - even slipping around the fence isn’t worth it as the ridiculously steep climb is up a boulder field and unrideable in the direction shown. Some parts of the route are really nice but (1) private land and (2) impassable section makes it a bad day out - avoid

At 1,230 m, it's the highest peak in the Corbières. A very beautiful vantage point. However, the ascent from the southwest requires sturdy shoes and surefootedness.

Somehow a magical place with a great view (for the altitude). Unfortunately, you can't see the Pech de Bugarach at this point because of the forest. However, you can see this peak earlier on the eastern ascent route. Caution! The direct route on the Komoot maps from the south is overgrown and barely visible. I wanted to take it on the descent at dusk and turned back. In contrast, the longer, partially signposted route, initially along wide tracks and finally along a path from the east, is clear and easy to follow.

One of the best experiences on my entire tour. I have this picture with the view of the mountains as my screen background. The roads are still closed, the snow is piled up meters high on the sides and at the same time there is not a single car on the road. Simply fantastic
