The San José Reservoir and Dam, also known as the Castronuño Dam, is a hydroelectric engineering project located in the middle course of the Duero River, about 2 km from the town of Castronuño. Built between 1941 and 1945, the dam is a gravity type and has a height of 14.05 metres.

Laguna de Duero was a salt mine that was located in the municipality of Laguna de Duero (Valladolid) and was finally drained in 1972, except for a small lagoon that is preserved in the center of the current town. It has a volume of about 3000 m³. This green oasis in the middle of Valladolid land has extraordinary natural wealth and biodiversity around the lagoon and the river that give it its name. The lush lake is the epicenter of the town's tourist activity, and its salt flats originally fed the town for a long time. Laguna de Duero combines history, nature and tranquility, offering its inhabitants and visitors a unique environment to enjoy. 🌿🏞️

It is a small reservoir on the Bajoz River, a tributary of the Duero. You can go around it, walking or cycling, for a pleasant walk of just over 4 km.

A nice little dam that allows you to get to the other side of the river. It also has very nice views of the landscape.

Small salt mine in the homonymous town, the origin of which dates back to the 15th century. Salt was extracted to exchange with other raw materials during the Middle Ages.
