I think the descent from Hellersberg to Muttershofen is great. Once you've ridden the lonely, easy-to-ride "small pass" from Memmenhausen, the view and the descent are the reward!

There is a small Brünnerle on the edge of the forest near Dinkelscherben. You can't drink the water, but it's a nice shady spot with some views

The new cycle path (as of August 2022) between Bonstetten and the Peterhof intersection, parallel to the A5 state road, closes the gap left by the Weldenbahn, which can now be traveled in one loop from Augsburg exclusively on cycle paths.
