Beautiful view of the Aare River and the city (Caution: many pedestrians!)

Very nice place

The Zurlindensteg is one of the many ways to get from one bank of the Aare to the other. From the bridge you have a wonderful view of the power station downstream. It is also worth stopping on the island itself.

A wonderful ridge hike over hill and dale - but still always leads to the Wasserflue. It is often a bit busy at weekends - if you can, choose a weekday.

This pass in the canton of Aargau connects Aarau and Frick. Thanks to the parallel Staffelegg, which takes most of the traffic, this pass has relatively little traffic. Located just below the Wasserflue mountain (866 m), there are many hiking opportunities.

The climb is rewarded with a great view from the top of the Wasserflue. Speaking of the climb, if you take the Direttissima from the south side it is very intense. But everything is rideable with the eMTB. Well, the last 10m to the bench could be critical. To be on the safe side, do it on foot! It could be tight up there for an ambulance access 🤭.

Unfortunately a bit hazy today. Still, the view is awesome.
