This is one of the park's most beautiful lean-to. It sits on a grassy area and holds two interior fireplaces. You'll also find a fire ring, but no water.
A small, well-protected shelter along the trail, perfect for an overnight stay. The shelter is basic but has everything you need for camping in the forest. Fingerboard Shelter tends to get busier on weekends.
There is a lodge here, with latrines available to the public. There is also a hand pump for water (we drank some and survived). Also close to picnic tables with a nice view of a lake.
