A small, well-protected shelter along the trail, perfect for an overnight stay. The shelter is basic but has everything you need for camping in the forest. Fingerboard Shelter tends to get busier on weekends.
There is a lodge here, with latrines available to the public. There is also a hand pump for water (we drank some and survived). Also close to picnic tables with a nice view of a lake.
This is a nice lean-to, perfect for a break or to spend the night. It is made out of stone and timber and contains two fireplaces. From here you have a great view of the area.
