Although Minnesota enjoys a network of trails that span the entire state, the Superior Hiking Trail itself is 310 miles long, beginning at the Minnesota-Wisconsin border south of Duluth near Jay Cooke State Park and ending where it intersects the Border Route Trail just south of the US-Canadian border.

Should you want to tip your toes in the water, the stream is easily accessible from the trail.

Dry Falls is formed by a small stream flowing from Dry Lake into Bass Lake. Beautiful spot to stop and have a look out over Bass Lake.

Lester Park is a beautiful lush park thanks to the two sparkling streams running through its green expanse. You’ll know Lester River by sight, but don’t miss Amity Creek, the lesser-known gem that gives Seven Bridges Road its name. The Amity Creek Falls are spectacular, especially from this trail that crosses the falls.

The trail along Tischer Creek in Congdon Park is a delight for hikers. This trail follows the creek as it flows over several waterfalls and cascades, creating a soothing soundtrack for your hike. You can cross the creek on one of the many bridges that span the water, each with its own charm. Some of the bridges are made of stone and concrete. Others are made of wood and metal.
