The Salto del Caballo Forestry Hut is a small facility located on the summit of Salto del Caballo hill (1642m), in the Sierra de Almijara mountain range, within the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park. It serves as a forest fire lookout post: a vantage point from which fires are monitored and the surrounding natural environment is observed. The hiking trail ascends through ravines (Cambril, Madera) and firebreaks, reaching the hut at a pass near the summit.

Venta de la Leche is a small town and pedanía in the municipality of Zafarraya. It is located in the northwestern part of the comarca of Alhama, close to the border with the province of Málaga. This area is popular with astronomers and astronomy enthusiasts due to its clear skies and minimal light pollution. The surrounding area offers beautiful views. My experience is good, a very nice place with cabins to spend the night and you can make a fire in the chimneys of the cabins, outdoor showers, and a fountain with its inexhaustible pool in the middle of the Sierra de las Albuñuelas
