The seaplane base – better known as the sea of Milan – is a basin of fresh water which is fed by the waters of the river Lambro. A great variety of services arise around it: cycle paths, parks, open-air museums, courses, bars and gyms.

The Young Artists Museum is an open-air public exhibition space dedicated to young talent. A space where traditional sculpture works mix with contemporary environmental art.

Isola delle Rose is home to a 700 square meter rose garden with about fifteen different varieties of roses and a monument to the resistance, at the foot of which you can enjoy the best view of the colorful geometric games of the garden against the blue background of the lake.

It is also called the 'sea of the Milanese'. It is an artificial basin surrounded by a pedestrian and cycle track which is excellent for running, walking and cycling.

This park, not particularly large, is easily reachable from Milan both from the Idroscalo and from Segrate.
