The ancient castle of Fiano has endured many vicissitudes, finally falling into the hands of the municipality and being converted into a school complex. The lines of the original building are still discernible. From the entrance (to the south), you can also see the castle's private chapel, beautifully restored. Be careful entering: it's a school, and the Carabinieri are right behind you. It's best to just view it from the outside—and be careful with photos if there are children in school!

Castello della Mandria is a hunting residence of the Savoy family dating back to the 18th century. Immersed in a vast park of over 1,000 hectares, this castle offers a unique combination of history and nature. Used for hunting trips by the royal family, the castle still retains the elegant and rural atmosphere of the time. Its rooms are full of frescoes and period furnishings, and you can also walk in its magnificent gardens and woods. For a complete visit I recommend dedicating at least a couple of hours, and using the available audio guide to discover all the historical curiosities of the place. Castello della Mandria is easily reachable from Venaria (40 min walk).

avoid on the weekend, but during the week it is a crazy resource for cycling and training in total tranquility, with bars and fountains inside the park and obviously no cars!

Cycle paths inside the herd

Excellent destination for simple undemanding rides on a compact and mostly flat surface, ideal for families and also suitable for children, because there are no dangerous stretches and traffic is very low. The only flaw is that not all the roads are passable by bike and it is not possible to complete a circular tour that allows you to fully visit the estate area. The only climb of a certain (modest) effort is to go up to the castle of "Bela Rosin" which dominates the center of the park. it's worth it because the place is very suggestive. The castle can be visited.
