Castello della Mandria is a hunting residence of the Savoy family dating back to the 18th century. Immersed in a vast park of over 1,000 hectares, this castle offers a unique combination of history and nature. Used for hunting trips by the royal family, the castle still retains the elegant and rural atmosphere of the time. Its rooms are full of frescoes and period furnishings, and you can also walk in its magnificent gardens and woods. For a complete visit I recommend dedicating at least a couple of hours, and using the available audio guide to discover all the historical curiosities of the place. Castello della Mandria is easily reachable from Venaria (40 min walk).

the Castle (check opening hours) is worth a visit for historical, architectural and naturalistic reasons. If you go in the cold season, cover yourself adequately because the rooms are NOT heated. On the ground floor there is also a large series of vintage carriages, used by the Royals for their short trips. Given the not very large complex, the visit can be done in the space of an hour (plus 10-15 minutes of approach on foot from the parking lot located outside the Mandria Park, at the Ponte Verde - do not leave valuables in the car!!!)

The castle of Rivara, an important seat of the Cenacle of painters of the Rivara school, is located 30 kilometers from Turin in the Canavese valleys. It is made up of three distinct buildings: the medieval castle, the neo-baroque villa and the stables, surrounded by a park of over 45,000 square metres. Inside, numerous ateliers and rooms regularly host Italian and foreign artists. The multifunctional exhibition space is 2,530 square meters, and the artistic direction was entrusted to Franz Paludetto from 1985 to 2023, the year of his death.

The castle, commissioned by the Duke of Savoy Vittorio Amedeo and whose construction began in the early 1700s, stands on a hill overlooking the estate of the herd, founded in 1693 as a horse breeding place. Both the castle and the estate were subsequently enlarged, at the behest of Vittorio Emanuele the second, who also had the hunting lodge called La Bizzarria built, in addition to several farmhouses, due to its eclectic style. In the castle you can visit the royal apartments rich in furnishings and works of art.

Small fortified village belonging to the Municipality of San Carlo. Noteworthy is the church of Santa Maria Maddalena and the small castle, the latter built for defensive purposes. The first information about this small village dates back to the year 1000.
