Kaldiff Castle, like Enn Castle near Montan, probably dates back to the 12th century and the Lords of Enn, who were then the court lords of Neumarkt. In the 15th century they had it rebuilt, but a little later, in 1524, they gave it to the nobles of Payr von Altenburg: They converted Kaldiff into a residential complex and from then on called themselves Payr von Kaldiff. At the end of the 18th century a fire destroyed the castle. In 1870 the keep fell into disrepair, and hardly anything of the ring wall can be seen anymore. Today you can get a glimpse of the magnificent building of yesteryear. The route passes near the wonderful ruins of Kaldiff.

Today all that remains of Castelfeder is a few suggestive ruins. In the 13th century, however, it had been an important castle built by the lords of Enna. It stood on a hill between the current municipalities of Ora, Egna and Montagna. All around the castle ruins there is a larger area where there are remains of other buildings dating back to various eras. Everything is immersed in the so-called Castelfeder biotope, a protected natural area covering 108 hectares.

The "Path of Visions" passes through splendid panoramas up to the majestic Salorno Castle (Haderburg). Along the way, the view opens onto the Adige Valley, offering colorful and fascinating scenery of Bassa Atesina.
