This is the highest point of the island where a break to observe the view is well deserved

The 610 meter high Monte Croce offers a good view from Liguria to Tuscany. Next to the stone building, a cross marks the summit

Summit north of Lerici with good views inland - but you can't see the sea here

Going down towards the mouth of the Magra River, the panorama is very varied, with the port of Bocca di Magra in front and the Apuan Alps in the background.

Beautiful section on a small peninsula. On the well-developed road there is usually little traffic and you can fully enjoy the view of the port of Sarzana, the Gulf of La Spezia (also Golfo dei Poeti) and the beaches on the Riviera. In the background light up the pale marble quarries of Carrara. There are even a few switchbacks and you push yourself up from sea level to just over 200 meters.
