The KiEZ Hölzerner See is a place that promises children and young people games, fun and unforgettable memories in nature. In the children's and youth recreation center, school trips, holiday camps and family outings are transformed into experiences full of fun, adventure and knowledge. True to the motto: learning through experience.

Above this spot there is a picnic area, which is unfortunately a bit old. If it is not mosquito season (which was the case on my tour) it is still a nice place to stay. 👍 From there a trail leads down to the water. If you dare, you should definitely take it. The trail is not easy to find, especially in summer, due to the vegetation. By the way, it is not steeply downhill/uphill, but in "serpentines". 😉 But I think it is worth the effort. 😃

Children's and youth recreation center at the Hölzernen See. Reminds a little of a former holiday camp, but in a modern guise and lovingly furnished.

Teufelswerder is the name of a small peninsula that protrudes into the Schmöldesee on the west side and separates it spatially from the Holzern See.

Nice, well-kept holiday resort with nice operators.

KiEZ stands for children's and youth recreation center. These centers are multifunctional group accommodations for recreational, educational, leisure and sports stays. The KiEZ Hölzerner See is located in the Dubrow (Gräbendorf) east of the Förstersee and on the northern bank of the Holzsee.
