Very short route from Cabana Rarău (15 minutes) with a beautiful view. There are benches and a protective fence on the top.

Colina Nera dominates the town of Vatra Dornei. This is where the ski lifts end at the ski resort.

Bukovina is part of the Tara de Sus. Which translates to high country. Bukovina also means the land of beeches. Near this mountain you are both high up and you see many beech groves. So it fits well!

an elongated panoramic summit with a panoramic view of the mountains of the Parcul National Calimani and several valleys. Please be sure to follow the marked paths, as the mountain pine thicket is almost impenetrable, I unfortunately had to experience it myself.

Pietrosul Bistriței peak - 1791 m Pietrosul Bistriței, with incredible views towards the Giumalău and Rarău Mountains, but also towards the Bistriței Valley, a rocky ridge full of blueberry and cranberry bushes.

To the west you can see the whole ridge of the Suhard Mountains and behind these mountains you can see the Rodna Mountains. If we turn to the south we see in the distance the Caliman Mountains with their Pietrosul Peak, 2100 m, as well as the Black Hill and a little closer the Ursu chalet

The Giumalău Mountains represent the western part of the Rarau-Giumalău massif, a mountainous group of the Moldo-Transylvanian Carpathians, belonging to the mountain range of the Eastern Carpathians. The highest fish is the Giumalău Peak, with 1,858 m altitude. www.wikipedia.org
