Cabin Point is the perfect spot to take in wave-lashed shoreline scenery and views of the Juan de Fuca Strait. Take the Coast Trail to Cabin Point for a chance to see seals hunting and ancient volcanic rock that make up the shoreline. There's also an old trapper’s cabin and the Antje Wagenbach memorial bench on the shore.

Access to Lake O'Hara is strictly controlled to preserve the delicate ecosystem and to offer a better experience for those who do visit the lake. The lottery controlled shuttle bus drops off at the campground and near the Le Relais Shelter for those lucky enough to win a reservation.

You can reach the Whitehorn Campground in the Valley of Thousand Falls after about ten kilometers on the Berg Lake Trail. If you want to spend the night at the campground, you need to make a reservation in advance. The tent sites have bear-proof lockers, toilets and a covered cooking area with tables.

The hut is newly built and offers benches and tables - sheltered from the rain and with a view of the lake.

This little cabin is owned by the Canadian Alpine Club and can be booked. It is supposed to be used as an emergency shelter as well, I found the door closed though. It has a wonderful view.
