Very nice

An ascent leads from Frasdorf through the valley of the Ebnater Achen via the Frasdorfer Hut to the Laubenstein. Another ascent leads from Hohenaschau via the Hofalm to the Laubenstein. The Laubenstein is a hilltop with a flat, grassy summit. The flanks of the mountain are wooded. The mountain has a main summit at 1350 m above sea level and a secondary summit about 400 meters southwest of it with a height of 1342 m above sea level. The mountain saddle in between is at 1321 m above sea level. The summit cross stands about 50 meters east of the highest point to be more visible from below. I drove from Simssee to Gstadt. Simssee for swimming and Gstadt because, in my opinion, the Chiemsee harmonizes best with the mountains here. If you're not afraid of smaller climbs...

The Kampenwand is 1669 m above sea level. NHN high mountain peaks in the Chiemgau Alps. Its summit cross is the largest in the Bavarian Alps and can be seen from afar. In winter there is a small ski area, in summer the territory of kite and paraglider pilots. The mountain is also popular with climbers, hikers and mountain bikers.
