The Chiemsee is always beautiful!

A great hut... with good food, good breakfast and a beautiful view (you can even see the Großglockner). We had 3 4-bed rooms with our group and were super satisfied. There was even a toilet and a sink in every room. Showers were extra.

Great all-round view and an impressive cross. With rope protection on the ascent, a viewing platform, a short climb from the mountain station and enough space on the summit, there is always a lot going on.

I drove from Simssee to Gstadt. Simssee for swimming and Gstadt because, in my opinion, the Chiemsee harmonizes best with the mountains here. If you're not afraid of smaller climbs...
