From this observation tower you can have a beautiful view over the Kiezer See and the bird sanctuary. With binoculars you can watch the birds. And early risers can watch the sunrise 🌄.

Lots of water birds can be observed up close. Be careful after heavy rain, then the path can only be done pushing and barefoot (flooding and mud)

We had lost the romance after driving 90 kilometers in the rain and the “path” was supposed to lead us to the monastery hotel. It was a bit tricky, but it could be done with good will and patience.
