The diving hut can be rented for celebrations.

The Butterberg is almost 384 meters high and is located just a few kilometers from the center of Bischofswerda. At the summit there is an inn in historic walls with a 21 meter high observation tower. You can find more information and opening times here: http://www.butterberg.com/.

The diving forest is an approximately 170 hectare forest area and an idyllic place for flora, fauna and gentle tourism. The building, which was formerly used by the stationed military units, was converted into a meeting place after reunification. Using display boards, visitors learn interesting facts about the history and nature of the diving forest. The building is equipped, among other things, with a kitchen and a large common room (for a maximum of 45 people) and can be used for both private and school purposes. The usage fee for the building for private individuals is 200.00 euros per day of use.

The name is right as it is really a large pond.

You can take very nice reflections of trees, clouds and etc. The place is very nice for hobby photographers but also for normal photographers. You can take a lot of photos of the beautiful nature.
