Refuge by the Kneipp pool and the barbecue area. On December 28, 1954, 13 men and women gathered at the invitation of the then mayor Hugo Dämgen to found the local group Monzingen im Hunsrückverein e.V. At that time it was still called the Moselle, Hochwald-, Hunsrückverein - MoHoHu. The meeting elected Hugo Dämgen as 1st chairman.
