From September 15, 2024, stamp station 22 of the hiking treasures of the Wild Homeland will be located directly at the Moosberghütte. At the Moosberghütte on the ridge of the Elfas, hikers can expect a wonderful view of the Solling and the upstream villages such as the "Wilhelm Busch Model Village Lüthorst", Erichsburg and Hunnesrück. Tip along the way: Wilhelm Busch was one of the most important humorous poets in Germany and is still considered one of the forefathers of comics today because of his satirical picture stories in verse. For over 50 years from 1846 to 1897, he was a frequent visitor to his uncle, Pastor Georg Kleine, in Lüthorst. Great view in the middle of the 555 square kilometer Solling-Vogler Nature Park. In the low mountain range, which consists primarily of red sandstone, there are around thirty mountains, eight of which are over four hundred meters high. The view from the Ebersnacken Tower is even more impressive.

The forest education center is located in the forest below the Homburg ruins. It has given us the opportunity to take a break several times.
