You'll find not just cherries here, but many different types of cherries. The variety of varieties in Rühler Schweiz is unique in Germany. Closer investigations have revealed almost 50 different varieties, including some cherry varieties thought to be lost. The two cherry discovery tours and the short "regional delight" quality trail lead on routes of varying lengths through the old cherry orchards and the unique cultural landscape near Golmbach. A nice spot to linger

Stamp station 10 of the Wild Homeland Hiking Treasures. The circular trails offer many beautiful photo opportunities. The treehouse is a really great idea!

There is now also a stamp box at the entrance.

Very beautifully laid out place. It's worth taking a break here. Warning: If the otherwise peaceful cows are in the pasture, you should keep the dogs away from the calves. The whole herd once "attacked" us there because a calf curiously ran up to our dog. The mother cow interpreted that differently and didn't like it ;)
