The Goose Girl Fountain in Kreischa was erected in 1911 in honor of the town council member Ferdinand Haußmann (1799–1879). He had amassed a fortune as a clothing manufacturer and merchant and dedicated his life to charitable causes and road construction in Kreischa.

To see the small Pfaffenteich pond in a hollow in the Röhrsdorf valley, you really have to stumble upon it by chance on the hiking trail, as there is no signpost. It is also rather small and unspectacular.

Although it rained quite a lot this year, I found the Pfitzteich pond almost completely dried up. It would certainly be an even more beautiful spot in the woods with a water level.
