The snack bar at Hollmarksee is open from April to October. During the off-season, it's open daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and all day on Sundays. During the swimming season, it's open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The "Holler" is simply wonderful at any time of day or year. It is open from April to September, but it is always open all year round so you can come to the lake. Sanitary facilities and showers are not available during the winter months.

The 1.3 km long riverside path on Lake Idstedt circles the lake on its eastern side, mostly on the forest slope. It has several jetties with access to the lake.
