Lake Hoffeld, a former basalt quarry on the Burgkopf hill above Hoffeld, is not open to the public. It is used by the Hoffeld 1990 e.V. fishing club and is fenced off on all sides.

Former basalt quarry I've even been swimming there before. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful view of Dockweiler and the holiday home area with individual, attractive holiday homes close to nature.

I don't really understand what it is. It's run by an association of the Catholic Church. There are beautiful old buildings, but also more modern functional buildings. There's also a farm shop and a nice sports field. I was here once and didn't see a soul, but today there are endless people.

Very nice destination with plenty of leisure opportunities. Some walking and hiking trails invite you to explore the surrounding area.

The former mill is now a pretty campsite with a few camper cottages. Very neat and quiet.

There is a modern campsite at the Dockweiler Mühle. The mill building with the water wheel still exists and now serves as a reception. The mill pond with overflow and mill canal is still there.
