Some parts of it weren't pleasant. It still seems difficult to think along or keep your eyes open. But the monastery is worth seeing.

No pictures today because the weather was terrible. However, the climb to Reifferscheid is highly recommended. Lots of switchbacks, hardly any cars, great view.

Today we're going to the "white house on the Rhine", the Rheinhotel Dreesen. A hotel with a lot of history, have a look at Wikipedia or watch the film on ARD. Otherwise there's a lot of wind and even more people in the way.

If you're not planning on going to Heimbach-Mariawald because of the construction site, you can get through by bike (legally).

A few more trees would have been really cool. Considering the length of the trip, I didn't have many problems with other road users, but I did have some problems with cash-only shops. The western tip is a nice destination.
