シュテフェンスハーゲンの山小屋＆キャビン・トップ4

This bridge no longer exists and has finally been replaced by a permanent bridge. The old hut has been replaced by a nice rest area.

The accommodation is located directly on the Via Baltica and is apparently a self-catering garden house.

You can rest here even in bad weather. The hut has certainly seen better days.

Here you can buy agricultural products 24/7 from the vending machine and also from the freezer on a trust basis.

Here you can get something to drink from the machine (e.g. apple spritzer, quince spritzer, rhubarb spritzer...)

Old, slowly decaying shelter, which you can perhaps still use to stay overnight.

If you are brave, you can take a short shortcut across this "bridge". But it is not an official route, it runs past the bridge and does not provide a major detour. I always walk over the wobbly wooden construction, which is actually more stable than it looks.. if you know where to step ;)

Hold on tight when you walk over here. Further above you will find the wild and romantic brook valley with lots of fallen trees. To recommend.
