The Lüneburg Heath is one of the oldest and most pristine cultural landscapes in the country. The 223-kilometer-long Heidschnuckenweg, a "Top Trail of Germany," runs through this seemingly endless expanse and lives up to its name. In autumn, the heath glows in incredible colors, especially when the sun is already low and sunset is imminent.
