Park Gorge in the Zschopau Valley slopes near Lichtenwalde. Information: The Park Gorge is located on the Zschopau riverbank path on the park side, approximately 400 meters upstream from the weir. An artificial waterfall, created by the park's water features, used to be 50 meters downstream.

Many people are still unaware of the Sechserschlucht in the Küchwald. The facility, which includes bridges, stairs and benches, was built in 1906. It is located somewhat secluded, 50 metres after the roundabout junction in the direction of Borna. The transformation of the Küchwald into a park was the result of an initiative by Louis Schönherr. The textile king wanted to offer Chemnitz workers - including many children at the time - opportunities for recreation.
