🚴 The Deelberg Gorge is a special highlight on the Münsterland Cycle Route. It's located on the section between Horstmar and Laer (Steinfurt district). The passage is about one kilometer long. The high embankments on either side of the path create a cool, almost gorge-like microclimate that is particularly refreshing in summer.

The former railway line between Coesfeld and Rheine has been expanded into a first-class cycle path with a width of approx. 3 meters. It leads through the typical Münsterland park landscape with almost no incline. It leads across the Baumberge and Steinfurter Land cycling regions, along the towns of Coesfeld, Billerbeck, Rosendahl, Laer, Horstmar, Steinfurt, Wettringen and Neuenkirchen to Rheine.

The Münsterland cycle path runs along a former railway line and connects the towns of Coesfeld and Rheine (approx. 48 km). There is a lot to see and discover along the way! It's impressive how the trees stretch upwards on the left and right on this section! https://www.muensterlandradweg.de/

A well-developed cycle path on a former railway line. There are numerous rest areas along the way and a cafe in a former train station near Horstmar. The path leads through a landscape with fields, meadows and idyllically situated farms. There are numerous opportunities to stop for a break.

A beautiful long-distance cycle path that makes it possible for two people to ride side by side for a long time and at the same time to enjoy nature, especially in spring.
