💧🌱 Ursprung der Vechte Die Vechtequelle in Darfeld ist ein herrlich verwunschener Ort, an dem Du miterleben kannst, wie aus einem kleinen Rinnsal ein bedeutender Fluss wird. Das Quellbecken ist idyllisch in die münsterländische Parklandschaft eingebettet und wirkt mit seinem klaren Wasser fast schon meditativ. Es ist der perfekte Startpunkt, um dem Lauf des Wassers Richtung Norden zu folgen.

Burlo House (now a barn), the former grain mill (called Burloer Mühle) and the former brewery were outbuildings of the Kleinburlo monastery. There are no visible remains of the monastery today. Repair and renovation work is currently taking place on the existing privately owned buildings. It is particularly worth taking a look at the half-timbered facade of the pretty brewery with bricks and incorporated ornaments.
