要塞は、広大な平野を流れる川が最初の渓谷である*瞿塘峡*に入るまさにその場所にあります。かつては東四川全体の軍事的な要衝でした。白帝城を制する者は、四川盆地への入り口を制したのです。そのため、2000年以上前にここに要塞が築かれました。 *城門* 今日、ボートで上陸すると、まず*再建された城門*にたどり着きます。これは明・清時代の典型的な中国の城門で、灰色の石造りで、湾曲した屋根と厚い壁が特徴です。

通常の観光ではありません。しかし、約1000年前の城壁があります。約2km先には大きな水道橋があります。ドイツなら観光客で賑わうでしょうが、長い歴史と多くの遺産を持つ中国ではあまり知られていないでしょう。

In the women's area, the animal statues are larger than in the emperor's area. Inside the building, you can even see the interior (only by looking through the window; entry is not permitted).

Zhenhai Tower was originally built in 1380, during the early years of the Ming Dynasty. For many centuries the tower marked the highest spot in Guangzhou and allowed to oversee ships coming up the Pearl River from the sea. Also it was the first merchant ships arriving would see from Guangzhou and ensured they arrived where intended. Today it forms part of the Guangzhou Museum.

Very worth seeing, you have to see it

Plan enough time if you want to explore some of the side palaces with special exhibitions (the Treasures and the Timepieces ones need extra tickets, but you can buy those on location as well). The palace area is huge and there is lots to explore. Just resting in one of the gardens is also very nice. Currently you need to buy the tickets several days in advance online (google is your friend)!

A visit to the Forbidden City is exciting and fascinating! A must for all travelers to Beijing. You have to put up with security checks and long lines. But once you're inside, you'll also find quiet places.

It is unforgettable! Buy your ticket online before you visit. Be patient with the many security checks and don't be afraid of too many people spreading out inside the city.👍🤩
