The History of the House The earliest construction of a manor house is believed to have occurred shortly after 1342, i.e., after the Haller family acquired the village. The dwelling, with a kennel and a moat, is mentioned in 1425. In the First Margrave War, Kalchreuth is also said to have been burned down in 1449. The main building was subsequently rebuilt.
