An impressive section of the Wippertalbahn. Rocks rise high on the left and right, and you glide along the smooth asphalt like you're gliding through a canyon.

Nice section through rocky paths :)

Here, in the small quarry near Pentinghausen, you can take a look from below at impressive roots.

Today, you can get a little sense of the feeling of the passengers on the former Wippertalbahn from your bike; especially downhill towards Wipperfürth, you glide along as if on rails.

Nice way towards Rönsahl.

Away from the road with a lot of nature on the right and left.

The almost 8km long Othe is created by two source streams that flow together at Freischlade - south of Belmicke. The Othe then runs a little way parallel to the Dörspe, into which it flows in Bergneustadt, and forms an approx. 1.5 km wide, natural brook valley, the Othetal, in the middle of the spruce forest. The villages Altenothe, Baldenberg, Brelöh, Freischlade, Geschleide, Immicke and Neuenothe are located in the Othetal, which belongs to the municipality of Bergneustadt.
