The two water buffaloes, which moved from the Wahner Heide to a wet meadow in Freudenthal near Overath-Immekeppel, have the following names: Immo is the name of the smaller bull, Keppel the larger one.

The Schlingenbach valley is largely designated as a nature reserve. The Schlingenbach flows through a wooded area with extensive spruce and beech forests, which also cover most of the valley slopes and are only interrupted by a few hamlets and their grassland areas.

Today, you can get a little sense of the feeling of the passengers on the former Wippertalbahn from your bike; especially downhill towards Wipperfürth, you glide along as if on rails.
