The waterfall at Nägelesee is located directly on the Danube cycle path.

A completely unexpected and wonderful experience that can be reached directly from the city. If you can't find a parking space, you can park easily at the Tengen primary and secondary school, especially during the school holidays, and you can walk to the entrance of the gorge in just under 10 minutes.

If you want to drink a coffee and maybe enjoy a piece of cake 🍰, you shouldn't shy away from the short descent. The waterfall is worth taking a look at, two black swans swim in the pond and a signpost invites you to take a circular route (approx. 1 hour) with an animal enclosure.

Below the town of Tengen lies the Mühlbach Gorge with its waterfalls. A small, narrow path leads over bridges and stairs. Fascinating how the water "cuts" through the rocks and stones. Attention: Is a bit damp in some places.
