Seehausen is rightly named and is located on the Seehäuser Lake. The beautiful painting on the little house by the lake is also interesting. The lake is about 634 hectares in size and there is a beautiful circular path around the lake.

The Holzmühlenteich is a small 3.26ha pond/pond in Flechtingen. According to our research, the water contains fish species such as eel, perch, pike, carp and tench and is therefore interesting for coarse and predatory fish anglers. Fishing from boats is prohibited and night fishing is permitted. Guest anglers can purchase fishing licenses for this water.

The Himmelsteich in Sommerschenburg with an area of approx. 11,100 m² is part of the “Harbke - Allertal” landscape protection area. A heavenly pond or heavenly pond is a still body of water that is not fed by any surface inflow and draws water exclusively from precipitation and groundwater. Aside from groundwater-fed ponds, they are found only in areas where annual rainfall exceeds evaporation. At this point in time, after extensive rainfall, the "wild" pond is definitely there.

A beautiful lake away from the surrounding villages. On our last visit (February 2024) the process was almost a real waterfall 💦 😃.
