The shelter on Lindelberg is a peaceful rest stop amidst the vineyards, offering a protected, pleasantly elevated position with sweeping views over Bretzfeld and the surrounding Hohenlohe landscape. The shelter itself is solidly built of wood, with an overhanging roof that provides reliable protection from both sun and rain. Directly in front of it, the view opens up across the clearly structured vineyard slopes, the fields in the valley, and the rolling hills in the distance.

Alpine hut with a magnificent view of the Hohenlohe region. The hut offers traditional, simple dishes, homemade cakes, and a good selection of drinks. The decor conveys the feeling of a mountain vacation.

The Naturfreundehaus Steinknickle is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest and is ideal for a rest or as a starting point for hikes. Today, October 5, 2025, was even a family day.

With covered seating, a fire pit, and plenty of space, the hut invites you to linger, barbecue, and socialize. Hikers, families, and groups enjoy it for short breaks, picnics, or social hours around the fire. Surrounded by ancient trees and birdsong, it offers shelter from all weather and a magnificent view of the Jagst Valley.

The hut has limited opening hours

From the vantage point above the “Siebeneicher Himmelreich” you can enjoy a wide view over the vineyards of Bretzfeld, the Brettach Valley and the heights of the Swabian-Franconian Forest.

Self-service hut with the opportunity to purchase local products such as cider, sparkling wine, and cider. A personal taste testament to the delicious quality of the "Naturbursch" cider.
