This listed cemetery is one of the most beautiful in the country.

Even before his election as supreme shepherd of the Catholic Church, the then Archbishop of Buenos Aires had met several times with Rabbi Abraham Skorka for a joint book project. The 40-meter-high tower is visible from afar and dominates the city's skyline. Yet one thing is clear: the secular building is not intended to overshadow the sacred main church. Amidst the red of the town hall, the golden clock immediately catches the eye. Likewise, the decorative coat of arms of the city of Kamenz, in the form of a relief coat of arms beneath the clock. Directly above the entrance is a counter commemorating the city's 800th anniversary. In 1356, with the issuance of the Golden Bull by Emperor Charles IV, towns, including Wittichenau, were granted the right to brew beer. The beer was largely brewed in private, business and trading houses. A joint brewery was founded in 1435. At its peak, 95 citizens in Wittichenau with brewing rights brewed beer in their own homes and sold it in taverns. At the beginning of the 18th century, the communal brewery was built on the market square. This was demolished in 1890 and moved to the existing malt house.
