The Chiavenna refuge is located near the Alp and Lake Angeloga and is the ideal destination or starting point for Pizzo Stella or Lake Lei.

The Stuetta refuge is an alpine refuge located at an altitude of 1870 meters. and is placed on the street SS36 Strada del Passo dello Spluga, a short distance from the spectacular dam of Lake Montespluga. You meet it directly on the right side of the road before arriving at the lake.

The refuge, dedicated to the "poet of Valchiavenna" Giovanni Bertacchi, stands in a panoramic position next to Lake Emet, in the Upper Val San Giacomo, at an altitude of 2,175 metres. An ideal destination for family outings thanks to its privileged and easily accessible position, it is open from mid-June to the end of September (and only on weekends in October). An excellent place to take a regenerating break while enjoying the best dishes of the local tradition. It is also equipped with 24 beds.

Located a short distance from the Montespluga dam, in the locality of the same name, it is an excellent choice to stay overnight while traveling along the Via Spluga.

The Rifugio Pian Grand is a self serving hut along the Sentiero Calanca. There are two huts. One is with a kitchen and sleeping places, the other has only sleeping places. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials and gas. 100m from the hut there is a water pipe. The toilet is 50m away and has no door but a beautiful panorama. You need to make a reservation for the hut at www.sentiero-calanca.ch

Baitusch is a group of huts that can be reached from Isola, first along a paved road up to Cà Raseri and then via a dirt road, or via paths from both Isola and Starleggia and Pian dei Cavalli. It enjoys a beautiful view and is close to a plain where you can stop to relax, have fun or simply have a picnic with friends! It is also possible, at certain times of the year, to buy cheese, butter and other dairy products directly on the alp! It's a nice crossroads to pass through if you want to take a nice ride around Pian dei Cavalli
