The refuge, dedicated to the "poet of Valchiavenna" Giovanni Bertacchi, stands in a panoramic position next to Lake Emet, in the Upper Val San Giacomo, at an altitude of 2,175 metres.
An ideal destination for family outings thanks to its privileged and easily accessible position, it is open from mid-June to the end of September (and only on weekends in October). An excellent place to take a regenerating break while enjoying the best dishes of the local tradition. It is also equipped with 24 beds.
