Rifugio Luna Nascente, located in Val di Mello, is a welcoming structure immersed in the heart of one of the most suggestive Alpine valleys in Lombardy. Located at about 1,000 meters above sea level, the refuge is surrounded by spectacular granite walls, lush forests and crystal-clear streams, making it an ideal destination for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. Reaching the refuge is simple and pleasant: starting from the village of San Martino, you follow a flat path that crosses green meadows and runs alongside the Mello stream, offering breathtaking views. The route is suitable for everyone, including families with children, and requires about 40 minutes of walking. Rifugio Luna Nascente is known for its warm and hospitable atmosphere. The kitchen offers typical Valtellina dishes, prepared with local ingredients, which are the perfect complement to a day spent hiking and climbing. The facility also offers the possibility of overnight stays, making it a strategic base for exploring the valley or tackling climbing routes such as the famous "Luna Nascente" wall. Val di Mello, with its pristine environment and unique beauty, is often called the "little Italian Yosemite". The Rifugio Luna Nascente, perfectly inserted in this context, is a place to relax, regenerate and fully experience contact with nature.
