Tip for long-distance hikers: A bivouac is also possible in this hut in an emergency. In the hut there are normal beer table sets that can be set aside if necessary. The hut is very well maintained and should remain so. Recently they have even been decorated with geraniums. There is also a barbecue area, which should be used according to the rules.

Very beautifully located typical hiking refuge with double rooms and dormitories right on the GR5. With a view of the Kaiserstuhl and the Black Forest. The double rooms are very new and inviting. At this point there is a hut, a spring and a great view of the Munstertal. The perfect place for a breather, especially if you came up here on the trail from Lac du Forlet. This trail is very blocked in some places, so you have to keep pushing your bike uphill to get to the Tiefenbrunnen.
