Beautiful rest area with shelter and numerous seating areas... Perfect spot for a rest or even an overnight stay

This inn is located at an altitude of 950 meters in the middle of the Vosges mountains and offers, from its terrace, a magnificent view of the valleys. You will find all types of beds ranging from dormitories to private rooms. Their table d'hôtes should also bring you comfort after a good day of walking.

Discovered by chance on a hike at Le Tanet. Since then, we have been there several times for a few days and also just for dinner when we were in the area with the camper van. The rooms are very clean and the sanitary facilities (floor showers/toilets) are all new. The food is also extremely good and plentiful, even with the half-board menu it is always very good. Very good starting point for hikes towards Le Tanet / Lac Vert / Lac Noir or the other direction Col de la Schlucht / Le Hohneck. Also a good base for MTB (VTT) tours. It can be reached via a paved path. - with a racing bike you have to climb a few more meters at the end, but that's why you are driving to the area ;-). Although we unfortunately don't speak French, we have never had any problems there, the owners and staff are very helpful.

Eating delicious food after a great tour is a must here. Very friendly service. German-speaking too.

Quiet and secluded place, with benches, rocks and a small shelter in case it rains, lots of technical trails to enjoy on the bike. A certain technical level is required to navigate these narrow trails, with rocks and very tight curves.
