Worth a stop not only when it rains: Refuge "Pierre des Trois Bans"

Beautiful rest area with shelter and numerous seating areas... Perfect spot for a rest or even an overnight stay

Quiet and secluded place, with benches, rocks and a small shelter in case it rains, lots of technical trails to enjoy on the bike. A certain technical level is required to navigate these narrow trails, with rocks and very tight curves.

Lovely spot for a break and/or picnic. The views of the surrounding landscape are absolutely gorgeous!

These houses were considered the link between the winegrower and his vineyard. They housed both the owners and the daily workers called in as reinforcements, particularly at harvest time. During this period when many workers gathered in the cabin after a long and hard day of work, small parties were sometimes organized where people drank and danced to an improvised track. At the beginning of the 20th century, while cabins were still very useful for wine growers, they were able to serve as refuges for lovers and were often the favorite place for many couples' honeymoons...

Easy route to drive. Every now and then you have to conquer a ramp.

Above the hut it is much nicer to walk on the ridge path than on the GR532. This is a great short alternative to the main path with a great view and picnic area. The path to the ridge branches off directly at the hut. There is a table and benches on the ground floor, and there is space for several hikers to spend the night in the attic when the weather is bad.
