very nice mountain bike trail

I couldn't shake the stone, but you can try :-) Peaceful site on the banks of the Acheneau River. Wet in wet weather.

Very nice course, fairly flat but great mountain biking course right to left, course to redo because it is really open to discovery.

Always accessible from the town of Cheix-en-Retz. But be careful, the next part of the circuit can be flooded in winter.

Not found where to go up to make it move, but I'll try another time :-)

This impressive tower in the middle of nowhere, in reality an old bell tower, is in fact the last vestige of a very large and rich abbey, destroyed in 1795 by the Vendée armies. A few meters further, beautiful view from the bridge over the Buzay canal, dug to facilitate navigation between Grand-Lieu and the Loire, and some pretty colorful houses.

The Trembling Stone, perhaps a vestige of a megalith, is today lying on the banks of the Acheneau. This very large stone trembles when you climb to a specific place, hence its name the trembling stone.
